Recently I watched the film, “Beats, Rhymes & Life,” it’s the documentary directed by Michael Rappaport about the one of my favorite bands of all time, A Tribe Called Quest. I just needed to write about the flick because I enjoyed it so much and I definitely wanted to help get the word out about the film. I went to see it with my girl and we both graduated in 1993, so this group was of the bands that definitely make up that sound track of our lives. So here I am on the set of a new show for NBC called, “Prime Suspect.” One thing you have on a set is a lot of time. It’s true what they say, its a game of “hurry up” & “wait.”. It’s 4th of July weekend and the beginning of summer. It finally warmed up out here in LA and it’s becoming my favorite time of the year… Summer. (Also, my birthday is in the summer, so maybe that might add to it.) I just wanted to post something to kick it all off. Here’s a song that we performed the middle of the night a few days ago at LACMA, Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Its in the middle of this cool lamp post exhibit. In any case, we rolled up around 12:30am and just played a song… out…

Here’s a poem I wrote to honor my dancing days… I started out as a dancer and I’ll always be a dancer in my heart. Since the 80′s, me and my brothers and sister have been dancing. First as breakdancers in contests and on  the streets of San Francisco. Later at the San Francisco Ballet Company, then ultimately we moved to Los Angeles and we all got into acting and it would seem that we moved on from dance.
