About Dante Basco

About Dante Basco

I’m the third son in a family of five…

Four brothers and a baby sister, it seems like my parents raised us to be artist. From ever since I can remember, my brothers & I were performing. My first performance ever was, “Greased Lightning”, at the annual Fil-Am (Filipino-American) Christmas Show with my brothers at the age of 4. From there we started breakdancing and spent our weekends on the streets of San Francisco, Fisherman’s Wharf and Telegraph Ave. getting our chops as street performers. We later got picked up by the San Francisco Ballet Co. to study dance and all this before the age of ten and before we moved to Los Angeles. I’ve now been in Hollywood for more then 20 years an have become somewhat of a young veteran in this crazy town and even crazier business. Sometimes it feels like I’ve been around forever and sometimes it feels like I’ve only just begun…
